Select Teams Compete in Midland Fusion Invitational Tournament
September 7th-8th, 2024

The HFC U14 Team held their own in Midland competing against older teams in the U15 division. They showed true grit and displayed an impressive amount of teamwork earning them a third place finish in a field of 8 teams. HFC’s U14 Coed Team is coached by Jason Dellinger, Ryan Drive and Ryan Bennett.
The HFC U12 Team swept all four of their games to become U12 coed division champs at Midland’s 2024 Fusion Invitational Tournament. They made HFC club history by being the first team to capture a tournament division title. HFC’s U12 Coed Team is coached by Daisuke Minakata, Erik Johnson and Roman Sidortsov.
HFC’s youngest select players displayed an endless amount of energy, determination and sportsmanship fighting to the end in all of their games in Midland.
The HFC U10 Coed Team is coached by Brock Howell and Ian Lizzadro-Mcpherson.

Select Players Compete at NMU Dome Tournament

Players from Houghton FC U12 and U14 select soccer teams had a successful visit to Marquette on Saturday February 3, 2024 to participate in the NMU Dome Tournament. The U14 team won their co-ed division by defeating the Wisconsin Lady Loons in overtime. The U12 boys team placed as runners-up in their division after a hard-fought defeat to Wisconsin United in the finals.
