We are excited to announce that Houghton FC and CCSA are collaborating in 2025 in order to offer the best recreational soccer experience possible for all youth in the area. All Summer recreational programs will be administered by the CCSA this year.

Select Teams Win at Copia Cup October 12-13th, 2024!

The HFC Coed U14 Team showed true grit and displayed an impressive amount of teamwork earning them first place in their U14 coed division at the Copia Cup in Oshkosh, WI. HFC’s U14 Coed Team is coached by Jason Dellinger, Ryan Drife and Ryan Bennett (not pictured).
The HFC U12 Team swept all three of their games to become U12 coed division champs at Oshkosh’s Copia Cup Tournament.
HFC’s U12 Coed Team is coached by Daisuke Minakata, Erik Johnson and Roman Sidortsov (not pictured).
HFC’s U10 Coed Team displayed great teamwork winning all three of their games and earning them a top spot in their division at
the Copia Cup tournament in Oshkosh, WI.
The HFC U10 Coed Team is coached by Brock Howell.
HFC’s U9 Coed Team played their hearts out to win the first of their three games at the Copia Cup Tournament.
They are coached by Lizzadro-Mcpherson and Brock Howell.

Select Teams Compete in Midland Fusion Invitational Tournament
September 7-8th, 2024

The HFC U14 Team held their own in Midland competing against older teams in the U15 division. They showed true grit and displayed an impressive amount of teamwork earning them a third place finish in a field of 8 teams. HFC’s U14 Coed Team is coached by Jason Dellinger, Ryan Drife and Ryan Bennett.
The HFC U12 Team swept all four of their games to become U12 coed division champs at Midland’s 2024 Fusion Invitational Tournament. They made HFC club history by being the first team to capture a tournament division title. HFC’s U12 Coed Team is coached by Daisuke Minakata, Erik Johnson and Roman Sidortsov.
HFC’s youngest select players displayed an endless amount of energy, determination and sportsmanship fighting to the end in all of their games in Midland.
The HFC U10 Coed Team is coached by Brock Howell and Ian Lizzadro-Mcpherson.

2024-25 Select League Evaluation Completed

Thank you for signing up for the Select Team Evaluation for 2024-25 season!
We had over 70 players participate in the June evaluation dates!

*An additional date may be offered in August depending on the availability of coaches and roster size of the teams formed at that point.

Summer Recreational League underway!

This year, CCSA and Houghton FC are collaborating to offer an incredible summer soccer experience for area youth. All Summer recreational programs will be administered jointly by CCSA & Houghton FC. There are 3 different sessions to choose from, depending on age: one opportunity for U13-U18 players and two options for U5-U12 players. U5-U12 players may choose to participate in one or both programs!

  • U13-U18 (May 22-July 10)
  • U5-U12 (May 28-July 20)
  • U5-U12 (July 22-September 14)

Select Players Compete at NMU Dome Tournament

Players from Houghton FC U12 and U14 select soccer teams had a successful visit to Marquette on Saturday February 3, 2024 to participate in the NMU Dome Tournament. The U14 team won their co-ed division by defeating the Wisconsin Lady Loons in overtime. The U12 boys team placed as runners-up in their division after a hard-fought defeat to Wisconsin United in the finals.

Houghton FC is committed to positively impacting the development of soccer in our community by teaching fundamental skills, instilling confidence and a love for the game in players of all ages and abilities with a goal to create a lifelong passion for the sport.
