Player Evaluations & Team Placement
All new and returning players participate in evaluations during the first week of fall practices. Evaluations are conducted as part of regular training sessions, allowing coaches to assess players in a natural, low-pressure environment. Evaluations help coaches assess each player’s current skill level, identify areas for growth, and monitor development throughout the season.
Team placement decisions will be made after evaluations and are based on multiple factors, including player development, evaluation results, coach recommendations, roster needs, and available roster space. Players may be placed on teams that best align with their current stage of development and competitive readiness.
New players typically begin in the Academy Program. Based on developmental readiness, evaluation results, and roster availability, new players may be invited to join a Tournament Team.
Returning players will be evaluated and considered for team placement using the same factors. In some cases, Academy participation may be recommended to provide the most appropriate environment for a player’s continued development and success.
The club reserves the right to adjust team structures, roster sizes, player placement, and tournament participation opportunities to support player development and overall team structure.
Our Commitment
Regardless of team placement, all players are valued members of the club and will receive quality coaching, training, and opportunities for growth.
Our goal is to provide meaningful opportunities for players to train, compete, and develop while remaining flexible enough to meet the unique needs of a small-community club.
