HFC 2025-2026 Select Season
Are you interested in a higher level of competition? Consider joining our Select League! Registration is open for boy and girls from birth years 2007-2017.
Players that register after July 4th will be placed on a waitlist and contacted later in the month.
What to expect
Select teams are meant for players who want to develop as a player and are willing to work for it. Players are expected to participate in scheduled practices. All players will have an opportunity to play in Northwoods League games, and most will have the opportunity to compete in tournaments. Once registered, every player will be placed on the Team Roster. Of the Team players, most have the opportunity to join the Tournament Roster too. If we have larger numbers than tournament rosters allow we will hold evaluations.

Registration Timeline
- June 10-June 23, 2025 Registration open for all players (birth years 2007-2017) includes a $100 fee to secure a player’s spot in the league.
- June 16 @ 8:30 PM ZOOM Q & A Meeting (email info@houghtonfc.com for the zoom link)
- June 26 & June 30 evaluations for tournament roster held IF NEEDED
- July Coaches will determine teams and rosters, and extend invitations to players
- July Team or Tournament roster registrations sent to players with additional payments due
- August 15 full refund less a $20 administrative fee available
- August 31 partial refund available all fees returned except $100 initial registration fee
- September 1 no refunds granted after this date
