Overview
Come train with Houghton FC’s select team coaches to work on your soccer skills.
Spring training sessions are highly focused on players’ individual soccer skill development. We will start sessions at an indoor gym and will move to outdoor fields as soon as the weather & field condition allows. Get a jump start on the soccer season!
What to expect
Once a week, 6-week session program with approximately 60 mins per session. Players will learn skills ranging from basic ball handling skills to more advanced technical/tactical skills as they progress in their ability. Players will be assigned to groups with more specific session times & schedules. Younger age groups will start at earlier time slots.

Dates: Saturdays April 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13 & 20.
Session duration: 60mins
Time: 2:30pm – 6pm
Schedule
2:30pm – 3:30pm Group 1
3:40pm – 4:40pm Group 2
4:50pm – 5:50pm Group 3
*times may be change or be extended to offer more groups depending on the number of players registered

Hirvonen Hall Gym (Indoor): 417 Quincy St, Hancock.
North Coast Park (Outdoor): 47663 Main Street, Houghton. HOME of Houghton FC!

Cost: $60 per player
Special Requirement
Players are required to bring the following items:
- Soccer ball
- Indoor athletic shoes (NO soccer cleats at the indoor gym)
- Soccer ball (size 3 for U7-U8, size 4 for U9-U12, size 5 for U13-U15)
- Soccer cleats & shin guards (Only when we move to outdoor field)
- Water bottle
- Athletic clothing suitable for activity
